Mistakes and failure are a bit of a bummer when they happen, but can they also be the best thing to happen to you?

Learn Failure.

Mistakes are a chance for you to be able to learn. by making a mistake - you have learned one way not to do something. Instead of focusing on the negatives of whatever mistakes you have made, it is better to try to focus more on the learning opportunities this failure has created. This is why there are prototypes, alpha and beta releases, and that sort of thing - they are designed to fail, so that they can bring back information on what is wrong! This way, what is wrong can be fixed.


Mistakes don't make us feel good - they can make us feel vulnerable and discourage us. One big factor that stops people from achieving things in their life is the fear of failure, and the fear of what people will think. Don't give up hope here though - this is the best time to power through and learn! Try and see through this potential 'failure' and stop thinking that you might fail. Start thinking that you WILL succeed, and you will be amazing.

When YOU are confident in your product and idea, it INSPIRES others to be confident in it too - and to be confident in you.

People who stand out, who let themselves be seen, are people that are admired and respected. When you see past potential failure, and you allow yourself to be seen by others and go into the 'arena', you are then able to influence others and inspire - and this is amazing! Sure, there are some that might send criticism, but the majority of people will be cheering you on and will respect you for simply being seen and taking that chance.

I found out about this quote from an Audiobook on Audible called "The Power of Vulnerability" by BrenĂ© Brown, which was taken from her book 'Daring Greatly', which was inspired by this quote also.

So go out there, dare greatly, make mistakes, stand out, and be seen. be unafraid of failure. Use whatever failure happens to learn. Invent your world.
